Did you know that the internet can make people happy? You get a dopemeine hit when people interact with you and there are some with forum addiction. Some make new friends, can be themselves, find their passion, fall in love, discover answers and solve problems.
There are some horrible people who get a kick out of cyber bullying, and I mean bullying of both adults and kids. So the internet can also make people really unhappy.
What I love about the internet is that information is much more readily available. But another important consideration is whether you make the most of the internet? Is it a time saver or waster for you?
For the less savvy, the internet can be daunting. Often we do not life to face our fears and deal with them. At some point we will either be forced to address the issue or we will choose to be left behind and give up.
The internet has been lauded as one of the greatest inventions of our time, some might say it is up there with men walking on the moon. But remember that the internet is also a massive marketing tool, that allows us to be bombarded with messages and manipulated into spending our hard earned money,. We should all be questioning what we do and why we do it. We are meant to be smarter and better.
