If you have never tried a Portugese tart , you definitely should. I am thinking about making it this weekend. There is a shop down Nottinghill Way which is famous for them, but I've also noticed them in a Cafe Nero before.
The pastry is super fluffy, the custard melts in your mouth and according to the recipe I was checking out tonight, there is caramel sauce drizzled on top. It is the best tart I have ever had.
Ditch your donuts, if you are going to be bad, this is so worth it.
