Cabbages - A Celebrity Diet Miracle?

It's called the sacred heart diet, because heart patients need a safe way to lose a lot of weight in a hurry so they can have surgery. I read Sarah Michelle Gellar used it and it's meant to be a wonderful fat burner.


Cabbage Soup Diet for 7 Days at a time, with 2 weeks in between.
Day One: fruit (except bananas), cabbage soup, unsweetened drinks
Day Two: vegetables, (leafy greens, avoid dry beans, peas, and corn) and potato with butter
Day Three: Day one and two food except potato
Day Four: Bananas and skim milk with cabbage soup.
Day Five: Beef and tomatoes. Drink 8 glasses of water. Soup. Bake chicken or substitute broiled fish for beef days.
Day Six: Beef and leafy greens, no potato and soup.
Day Seven: Brown rice, unsweetened fruit juices, vegetables and soup.

I'm not a cabbage fan and I don't think I'd do this one. But I've tried to eat more cabbage! I'm wondering how many people have attempted this diet, or any other celebrity ones, and how effective it was for long term weight loss.
